Metric is by far one of my favorite bands and one that I will definitely see live. Often, with artists the live show is nothing compared to their digital and edited music. But, with Metric that isn't the case the music is an experience and hearing it live is just as amazing as the album. Emily Haines is not only the front for Metric but also records under her namesake as well as appears in Broken Social Scene. The current edition of Parlour Mag is proud to boast her on its cover and having meet/chatted with Shelly the Editor-in-Chief at Alberta Fashion Week it makes me that much more excited for it.
