Bike bike bike

Time to share with you all, my bike. It was purchased about a month ago from a man that collects vintage bikes, fixes them up and sell them. It was a steal at $100 and dates back to the 70's/80's when Eaton's department store still existed. It rides great and fits my 5'4 frame perfectly, because it's nice being able to touch the ground with my feet and not having to find something solid to cling onto when stopping.

the reason I bought the bike was because I've always wanted a retro bike with chrome wheel covers and a back pannier rack. Plus i also just got a great wire basket that attaches to the front and releases so i can easily do my grocery shopping, SO CUTE!

and if you had noticed the back stenciling on my wall isn't actually finished since one side has a silver/gold tone and the other half is only silver. I ran out of paint, haha. So sometime this week it will be finished!

  1. This bike is fantastic! My girlfriend and I both really want a vintage bike but no-one in our area restores them. (Maybe I should!!) And for $100 that's a steal!
