Luxe for Less: Saint Laurent Jane Sandal vs. Zara Leather Sandal

The simple black leather sandal is a sexy and sleek heel. It's a style classic and perfect with jeans, dresses, and pretty much everything. I have been on the search for a strappy heel for a while and Zara has done it again. After missing a similar design last season it made me so happy to see it being brought back and with the ability to buy online now in Canada, this is going to be great! and bad for my wallet. Looking at the two shoes above can you spot which one is luxe and which one is for less? Let me tell you, for the price I would go for the less.

Luxe for Less: Isabel Marant Berry Boot vs. Aldo Jodetha

As an avid shopper and student there is a huge conflict often between my wants and my wallet. The turmoil comes when I see someone like Miranda Kerr strutting her supermodel self in another coveted pair of Isabel Marant shoes and looking amazing, but what else can you expect from a supermodel? Not only can she afford it, but it sure does make me envious. I'm starting a new little section for fashion finds that are not only chic but affordable. So with out further adue. here is the 'Luxe for Less' first post! 

On the left the Berry Boot, stylish with the embroidered leather and pointed toe it retails for $1145 and mostly sold out. 

On the right is Aldo's Jodetha boot though not exactly the same, but it does have the same feel with the studs in a similar pattern and a pointed toe and in black suede only 69.99 on sale!
