'Twas a Beautiful Night

Wednesday night was a great night of shopping and entertainment. The Core Shopping made the night festive and fashionable for everyone. With fireworks, tree lighting, and discounts.
Here I am moments before the gigantic tree was lite while the Calgary boys choir sang some Christmas tunes
Dancers from the Alberta Ballet did sections from The Nutcracker. It was my favorite part of the whole night it was enchanting and the dancers were very graceful.
Also, the costumes were amazing it brought me back to the days as a little girl in jazz dance wearing my black leotards watching the older girls dance.
The night also reveiled the tweet dress designed by Paul Hardy. Sewn between the layers of fabric you can read some of the tweets.
What I'm wearing: Silk polka dot blouse // Maison Scotch

Unfortunately, the night was cut short as my head was aching from lack of sleep (too much studying and possibly from the banging of the fireworks) so I missed the paper dress fashion show from Papyrus. Which strangely I missed last year too, but I can't remember why..

Jacquie and I did get to meet Noreen Flanagan the Editor and chief of Elle Canada and had a nice chat with her about what was in style for spring. It's orange btw.

Also, we meet Jessi Cruickshank from MTV and I can't remember what we talked about but I really wanted the Alice and Olivia dress she was wearing. The only thing missing was Dan Levy and a guest appearance from Lauren Conrad and it would have been the perfect The Hills circa 2010 evening.
